First aid in the dog

ebook

Accidents are more likely to occur when the dog is a puppy. The younger ones are more mischievous, they mess up everywhere, and they like to stick their noses everywhere to pry. When the animal is an adult, the risk of accidents is considerably reduced. The role of the owners is essential to avoid dangers such as: run over, electrocutions, choking or falls.

In an emergency, knowing how to act is vital. The dog may need to be stabilized, pain reduced , or bleeding under control before reaching the vet. A few minutes can be momentous to turn around a situation, which can seriously endanger the animal's health .

The situation can arise where the dog is unconscious when first aid is being given , wakes up and becomes nervous. For this reason, it is advisable to put a muzzle on it, but a bandage or a tie can also be used, in order to prevent the dog from attacking us.

This is an informative book, without further pretense.
